Today I am sharing Jeff & Lindsay Ford wedding two people with a passion for fitness, nutrition, and health. This wedding will manage to knock you off your feet, this couple who looked absolutely, stunning and amazing on their magical day that was held at the beautiful Westin Resort & Spa in Hilton Head Island. I am very sure you’ll agree. I received this lead from Julia Dodson head coordinator for The Westin and after a very nice conversation, Lindsay booked with me right away. What was also interesting was that Lindsay was having her bridal fitting here in Charleston, Sc, and I offered to meet her. I also offered my photography service to capture her bridal fitting while she is looking for the perfect wedding dress for her special day, taking into account that this is a very emotional and important day for mom and the mother in law to be. Shortly after capturing this gorgeousness bride to be and having the honor and privilege to have met both moms, Lindsay decided several months later that she would give me another golden opportunity to create my art and meet Jeff, by capturing their engagement at the beautiful Palmetto Bluff in Hilton Head Island Sc, where Jeff proposed. Quite honestly after that session, I have no idea why they hired me, anyone could have captured this two great looking couple and the clients would have had beautiful images.
Moving forward to the month of October 16th,2015 for this magical day. I arrived at The Westin Resort & Spa in Hilton Head island Sc, at Jeff Suite with 5 of his groomsmen, wearing suits, by Vera Wang from (Jos A Bank) with some last minute tweaking by Jeff of the vowels, and then photographed them on the property. Shortly after, I went to Lindsay suite, where her mom and bridesmaids were getting ready. Lindsay wore wedding gown by Pronovias from Gown Boutique of Charleston, Sc. Wedding shoes by J Renee, while Bridesmaid dresses by Donna Morgan. Theme colors were lavender, amethyst and various shades of green to give the entire wedding a “rustic low country yet glamorous ambiance. As you can see by my images I love, love, capturing emotions between everyone and most of the times the parents make that very easy for me, as I strive on catching those perfect moments, I always say “That I am a true story teller and my images reflect that” The dapper bride and bridesmaids had their photo op and we left for the ceremony. This stunning southern wedding ceremony that was held on the deck of The Westin Resort & Spa, in HHI, with countless beautiful arrangements, included palm reed roses and lavender roses (on the chairs) and an assortment of white, purple and green compliments everything else. The rose was the main floral inspiration by The Flower Garden, Henry Kretchmer was the florist graced the chairs, creating a romantic environment with a backdrop of palms trees and beach for the perfect ceremony, stetting.
The cocktail hour was took place on the deck, while I photographed the family photos then proceeded with the bridal party and the stunning couple including some very artistic images on the beach.
The elegant, and glamorous reception in the grand ballroom filled with rustic charm and so many glittering, sparkling pretty details, for their celebration with absolute definition of wedding day perfection, designed by Julia Dodson and her fantastic team for over 160 guest. Once guests, family and friends had enjoyed dinner, and amazing toast, it was time to hit the dance floor with some of Charleston most talented band, Two 3 Ways out of Charleston, SC, for their dream wedding reception.
Here from the bride in her own words is how the met and this day became.
Jeff and I met quite some time ago. As I have now turned 30 and Jeff and young 27 (ha!) we just so happened to cross paths in 2005. We both have a passion for fitness, nutrition and health and experienced an internship at the same facility known as Hilton Head Health. As Jeff was completing his internship, I had decided to go to grad school and pursue my license as a Registered Dietitian once my H3 internship was completed. The year 2012 came around and Jeff interviewed me for a full-time position at Hilton Head Health and he just couldn’t resist pulling the trigger. I initially became attracted to his compassion for others and strong work ethic. He finally asked me out on a date, but we both knew the risks involved as we both took our careers seriously. After a hard one to two months dating secretively, Jeff decided to move on from Hilton Head Health and pursue other dreams. The relationship bloomed from there. During a trip to Palmetto Bluff October 12th, 2014 Jeff surprised me with the most beautiful and caring engagement. I thought we were celebrating my birthday, but he had other plans. We are truly best friends and I am so proud to call him my husband just as I know he loves me unconditionally. I know we will have plenty of adventures to come!
Congratulation to both of you thank you for letting me be a historian and capturing this amazing wedding for you all. Blessings.
