As I start blogging after such a very busy wedding season, I am reminded of how very lucky and fortunate I was to capture this wedding for Nadia & Dan Jones. On this perfect day, I started photographing Nadia & her bridesmaids in the wedding suite. Nadia had the glow of a beautiful bride and made it so easy to capture the perfect images. The wedding ceremony was held at Holy Family Catholic Church. The reception was held at the beautiful Westin Hilton Head Resort & Spa’s Oceanfront Pavilion, overlooking the Atlantic and Hilton Head Island’s pristine beach. The guests enjoyed a station style dinner and celebrated the nuptials by dancing to the renowned band Deas-Guyz. The wedding was grand as you will see in the images!
Here from the bride and groom is how they met:
Dan and I met at work in the office at Remax. I never thought I was going to find love at work since I was working with people older than me. One day I went to the printing room and he was sitting there working, I said “Hi” to him like I normally said to whoever was there. He surprised me with this fluent spanish and started talking to me. We started dating after a month we met. Our relationship had a lot of ups and downs but we worked out every single challenge. Dan and I have a lot of goals and many of them have been achieved because we support each other. Dan inspires me to always be better and brings out the best of me. God blessed me with a great man. He lived for a few years on Hilton Head Island, SC and we both love the place. We looked through a lot of venues and we found the one that we both liked; The Westin. It was the perfect venue for the amount of guests and we loved the beach view.
Our band “Deas Guyz” put everybody on the dance floor. We enjoyed every song they played and always kept the party alive. I would highly recommend them to anybody who’s considering live entertainment.
Our photographer Michel held the day together very nicely. He not only instructed us through our day he kept us on time so we could enjoy time with our family and friends. He was great!! He was open to fun photos and was pleasant to work with.
The cake was a huge hit as well. Signe from Signe’s bakery made our cake and it was delicious and elegant. I would highly recommend her as well!
