This has been my second time to Hilton Head, Sc within these past months, on this day for Allyson & Don wedding as I was driving into Sea Pines resort, I realized that the clouds were coming in, we are all custom to rain in the afternoon here on the east coast, but I did not know that it would affect the ceremony, Diane Hardy and the crew at Sea Pines handled the situation perfectly they put the guest and friends, family at the restaurant, as we waited for 40 minutes for the clouds and most of the rain to pass, then the ceremony started, it was magical and everyone had fun, color scheme was Victoria lilac, the bride wore an amazing dress by Jasmine Bridal Jade Couture, her shoes by Catarros, Maid of Honor was Megan Strassner, Matron of Honor Laura Mayes, Best Man was Matthew Dewey, I have got to say that even with the unpredictable weather, which in many instances affect the feel and look, after my artistry it turned out to be one of my best wedding photography results.
From the Bride on how this day became their day: ” Don and I met through mutual friends and after our first date we were inseparable. Every year on our anniversary we repeat our first date and go to the same restaurant and even sit at the same table. He proposed on our three year anniversary at that very same table. When we got home that night he had a surprise engagement party with our friends and family waiting for me. We always knew we wanted a destination outdoor wedding with close friends and family. We chose Sea Pines because we could get married under the beautiful and unique Liberty Oak.”
