Another blessed day and to top that off nothing is even better than to be photographing this wedding at the lovely venue of Ion Creek Club. The day started when I arrived at Erica house on Folly beach, when I was greeted by two little girls, I promised Erica that I would give her the photos she and Jamie were looking for but these kids were just attached to my camera, after that we then drove to the Ion Creek Club, were the reception room was decorated in a sage green color, while the ceremony had an orchid, ivory color,we had some wind and light showers about an hour after the ceremony, low country but with these photos project nothing but an amazing beautiful blue sky and a magical day for these great clients of mine.
Here in Erica words are how they became one:
Neither Jamie or I imagined that our blind date in July 2009 would be the beginning of an amazing new life together. Within a few months we knew it was love and a year later on Christmas Eve, Jamie asked me to marry him.
We knew immediately when we saw the view of the beautiful creek and the large oak tree on the lawn that the Creek Club would be the perfect place for our spring wedding. The outdoor fireplace, rocking chairs on the perfect Lowcountry-themed buffet were everything we wanted for a simply southern wedding.
