What a way to start my Thursday, by posting this fantastic wedding and story about a local Sc girl, meeting an Australian guy and falling in love, by having their wedding and reception here in Charleston Sc, at the beautiful Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina.
The day could not have been more beautiful, and the weather was perfect, about 65 degrees, I had the pleasure of capturing the first look for the couple, instead of my getting a ready look. It went like a breeze the couple are so connected that photographing them was very easy, the mood, look, feel, was them. They had the ceremony on the pier, and the sunset was perfect, as the one above knew this two were the perfect match. I captured it all, and then the reception with a very long line of friend and family toast, which showed how great of individual people they were.
Here from the bride is how this day became:
Anthony and I met when I was studying in Australia in 2010. I really had an idea right when we started dating that he was different from any other guy, and I had a strong idea we would get married, although I had no idea how it would really happen. Our relationship has been through a lot with living across the world from each other. In all reality, the distance made a stronger and more serious about each other. Because of the distance, we tried to plan the wedding in various continents, but I couldn’t get away from home. Once, I decided on the location, everything got so much easier. I chose Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina because it was absolutely beautiful. We were going to have the wedding on a beach in Thailand, and it was the closest thing I could find. We were able to eat right next to the beach area. We got married on the dock, it was extremely peaceful. For the reception, we had a bluegrass band, and it was an absolute blast. The band was great at worked with my taste and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend all of my vendors!
