Being a wedding photographer is a blessing, I am full of passion for this art, I absolutely love what I do, especially when I have clients that bring me on board as part of the team with giving me the trust with one of the most important days of their lives it is a huge honor.
Take for instance this lovely couple Amanda & Anthony Fox, and their amazing sunny day at Wild Dunes Resort, the photography emotions show how and what these couples is like, very humble, down to earth, everyone was so happy to have witnessed this day for such a beautiful couple on their journey together.
Here in Amanda & Anthony words is how this day became.
” After years of a long distance relationship, we have decided, it’s just too much. Anthony decided we are much better together than apart. On Thanksgiving of 2011, he proposed to me and presented his mother’s engagement ring to me. My engagement ring was given to Anthony’s mom 49 years ago by his dad. His entire family is very excited to pass this heirloom on to the next generation.
Anthony was adamant about asking my father in person before we shared the great news with everyone else. So, on New Years Eve 2012, Anthony asked my father’s permission for my hand in marriage.
We chose the Wild Dunes Plantation as the site of our wedding based mostly on the event planner, Samantha Martin. She was instrumental in pointing us in the right direction on vendors, sites for each component and keeping us calm and collected. She truly was amazing and had every concern handled before we even had a chance to mention it. She pointed us in the direction of Tiger Lily for our flowers and Gayla was the perfect fit for us. She captured our vision of simplicity and charm perfectly. Samantha also gave us a lead on Lee Edwards Entertainment for our DJ. He took the time to meet with us and assure us that he would be able to provide the exact environment we desired.
We had the great fortune of literally stumbling onto Michel Berda, of King Street Photo Weddings, our wedding photographer. After a brief 5-minute phone conversation, I knew he was the one to trust this special event to. He truly went above and beyond our expectations and his level of professionalism is second to none. I also want to mention how his vision for what will become a photo and how to arrange the subjects is amazing.
All of our catering was in house by Wild Dunes and was spectacular. The food was first class and the staff was the same caliber.
